Orissa CM Naveen Patnaik appeals people, industrial houses, and institutions to contribute to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to provide relief to the people affected by Cyclone Phailin in Odisha.

Cyclone Phailin and resultant floods in Odisha affected over 1.2 crore people in more than 16,000 villages and claimed 26 lives. Of 26, five people died in floods. Cyclone and floods had affected around 1.2 crore people in 16,487 villages of 2009 gram panchayats and 43 urban local bodies spread over 148 blocks of the state. While standing crops over 6,25,408 hectare area had been destroyed, 3,33,070 houses were damaged due to both the calamities.

How to contribute?

i. The contributor should clearly mention his/her name/name of the organization with detail address while contributing to Chief Minister’s Relief fund.

ii. The contributor can send his contribution to the fund in the form of cash, cheque, money order and demand drafts.

iii. The donor should send the contribution in the following address;

iv. Donor can also remit their contribution through the following bank

SB A/C no 10566116417 of State Bank of India,
Forest Park Bhubaneswar

v. Online donation facilities is also available for contribution in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Kindly check odisha.gov.in website for subject online donation.

vi. Funds can be transferred electronically through NEFT or RTGS to A/C No 33378452680 (IFSC code: SBIN0006606) in the Forest Park, Bhubaneswar Branch of SBI. Contributions to the CM’s Relief Fund are exempt from income tax.

vii. The contributions can also be sent by way of Cheques or Drafts to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Cyclone 2013), C/O Joint Director, CM’s Relief Fund, General Administration Department, Secretariat, Bhubaneswar, PIN: 751001.
